Join Luca Dellantonio, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo’s Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC), in conversation with scientific outreach manager John Donohue. They’ll discuss his latest journal article entitled A measurement-based variational quantum eigensolver published in Physical Review Letters on June 4.

Each month, led by a member of our campus community, a book from the President's Anti-racism Task Force's (PART) carefully curated list will be reviewed and discussed. The book that will be discussed is "21 Things You May Not Know About the Indian Act: Helping Canadians Make Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples a Reality" by Bob Joseph.

In September, Professor Frankie Condon, who has conducted extensive research in anti-racism rhetoric and anti-racism pedagogy, will lead the discussion of Robin DiAngelo’s, White Fragility (2018), the New York Times bestseller that gained international prominence in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd in the US.
